Update on Olivia

Olivia is growing great. She is about 13 1/2 pounds. We finally tried switching her formula, and it has worked. She is now the sweet, smiling girl we always knew she could be. She rarely cries anymore. She has slept thru the night the last 3 nights(not holding my breath, it is probably just a growth spurt, and she needs extra sleep) she has gone to bed between 9:30 and 10 PM, and wakes up about 6:30, but doesn't wake up crying, she jsut talks. So we let her stay in her bed until 7 PM when Taylor gets up. She also eats in about 5 min. or less which makes life easier, and also is on a great a schedule of eating every three hrs. unless she is a sleep. She is taking great naps in the morning and afternoon. (She is currently sleeping, she has been asleep since 8:30 AM, we keep checking on her when we hear talking, but she still has her eyes closed) She loves to suck on her fist, fingers, thumb(the first of our kids to do this) and some toys, which helps keep her busy and also calm herself. She tries really hard to get her binky back in her mouth by putting her arm up by her face but isn't always successful, and then a tantrum occurs. She loves Max, he can make her laugh on cue, we tell him it is his "ugly mug" that makes her laugh! I am so glad the formula worked and that she isn't having stomach pain anymore, that makes me sad to think of how long I let that go. We love you Olivia Grace.

Isn't it so hard to know how to help them when they can't tell you. I'm glad switching formula worked. She is beautiful.
