Christmas in Idaho

When we go to Idaho for Christmas we also celebrate Advent. Each family takes a turn choosing a song to sing and then we sing Silent Night in German and English at the end. This year for our family Max sang a solo. He had memorized a song from Frosty Returns, and was quite proud to sing for everyone, he did a great job. Taylro and Seth were Mary and Joseph for the nativity since Olivia got to be the baby Jesus. I loved how Seth would stand or sit when ever Tay did, it was very respectful and he was always cooing at Olivia. Max chose to be a bad king, hence the silly picture. Konnor doesn't like to participate in this tradition and so he sat on the floor and watched, maybe one year he will not be so shy. They loved the gifts from G & G Maynard, and always have such a hard time not opening every little piece while we are there. It is always fun to hear what each family did for thier "Service Gift", and how it affected their family. Not usually alot of dry eyes in the bunch. Dans parents have also given each family alot of fun food storage items to add to ours at home and it is always appreciated.
