We went to Wheeler Farm again. It was supposed to be with play group with my friends from high school, but we had to leave earlier than them, so we didn't even walk with them. The parking was crazy because of some day camp thing, and most of the animals were out to pasture and couldn't easily be seen. But never fear my kids found something to love, and it was the RATS, yes you read right, RATS!! They were living in the pig pens, and you could watch them running around, they were huge and disgusting. My kids thought it was cool. The gooslings were also a big hit, there were many differing ages( some new, some a month or so, and some yearlings), they were really cute. Max loves to make them hiss at him, maybe he neeeds to get chased and bitten! Needless to say, the kids had fun, and it was free.

That picture of the rat's tail grossed me out-I got the shakes just thinking about it-Ugh!!! (We saw a mouse the other day back by the horses and I screamed and freaked out-Cayle calmly said "Mom, that mouse can't hurt you-it's more afraid of you than you are of it." Put in my place by a 6 year old. Gotta love that.
